Blake Lively’s witness list for her upcoming trial It ends with us costar and director, Justin Baldoni, consists of her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
Lively’s legal team filed a preliminary motion on April 11, listing all witnesses expected to testify when the proceedings begin early next month.
Lively and Reynolds are the first to take the stand, and court documents obtained by Us Weekly reveal that the couple will recall Baldoni’s alleged “misconduct regarding the film, the film’s post-production, the film’s promotional and marketing campaign.”
In addition to the star couple, Baldoni will take the stand along with producer Jamey Heath and crisis PR manager Melissa Nathan.
Lively’s publicist Leslie Sloane and the Gossip girl The alum’s sister Robyn Lively and her It Ends With Us costars Isabela Ferrer and Jenny Slate are also expected to give testimonies.
Colleen Hoover, who wrote the novel from which the film was adapted, will be deposed outside the courtroom.
Lively starred as Lily Bloom in 2024 It ends with us and nearly four months after the film’s release in August, Lively named Baldoni in a lawsuit accusing the director of sexual harassment and allegedly trying to ruin her reputation through a “smear campaign.”
Earlier this month, a judge ruled to dismiss 10 of Lively’s 13 complaints, including claims of harassment, defamation and conspiracy. The remaining charges will be dealt with in court.
“I am grateful for the Court’s ruling, which will allow the core of my case to be presented to a jury next month, and for the opportunity to finally tell my story in full at trial, for my own good, but also for those who do not have the same opportunity,” Lively shared in a statement via social media at the time.
