Sabrina Carpenter marked a milestone in her career when she showcased her acting skills, which initially started her career.
The 26-year-old pop superstar looked back to her roots as she starred in several skits during her performance on Saturday evening live.
The Espresso hitmaker took on double duty as host and musical guest on the late-night comedy show on October 18, once again impressing fans with her acting skills.
Following the special episode, which marked her first time as host and second time as musical guest, Carpenter took to Instagram and shared a series of photos from the eventful day.
Next to the carousel, the Please, please singer wrote in the caption: “SNL double duty was the least sleep I’ve ever had in my life and the best reason not to sleep ever. thank you Lorne, the amazing cast, crew and writers who welcomed me with open arms @nbcsnl.”
The Grammy winner’s fans flocked to the comments and appreciated her performance, with several people raving about her acting in the skits.
“Sabrina, we’ve been cackling for 36 hours. So good,” one social media user wrote, while another added, “Your southern accent was so good.”
A third chimed in: “Best performance by any pop star ever,” and “You absolutely slayed it. SO MANY SKITS!!”
While one was baffled by her busy schedule, writing, “Girl I don’t know how you do it. Two weekends of Austin City Limits festival, Grand Ole Opry in the middle of ACL, SNL the following weekend AND yours Short and sweet tour resumes in three days?? I’m convinced you’re an immortal vampire who never sleeps.”
