Sarah Jessica Parker gave her fans a reason to hope that Carrie Bradshaw may not be gone forever.
The actress, who turned 60 this year, hinted that her famous character of Sex and the city and the sequel And just like thatcould return despite the series that ended earlier this year after three seasons.
Parker was published on CBS and was asked about the decision to close the chapter on the follow -up series.
She replied: “I mean, I am not sure if I actually understand what that decision means, actually. Because I could just be during a break, you know.”
The actress did not explain any further, but admitted that ending the show was ‘difficult decision’ she made with showrunner Michael Patrick King.
Parker explained: “Michael and I spoke a lot about it, and I think it is out of respect for this really unique professional experience that you have to consider what you want to do (s) you did.”
“And sometimes it is best to walk elegantly when things feel really good and energetic, versus pinching and exploiting the generosity and hospitality of people,” she added.
The blue night actress was not the only one who had left the door open, as executive producer Elisa Zuritsky said to Tvline: “She lives, so it can happen.”
“Sarah Jessica Parker is the muse of Michael Patrick King, and the reason he says:” I have said goodbye before and I came back “is because it is true.”
However, the last episode was broadcast in August, where Parker admitted that her grief and wrote that Carrie Bradshaw “dominated my professional heart rate for 27 years.”
Fans are now asking about whether Carrie really got her last walk through New York, or whether her story is only on a break.
