Sean Diddy Combs reportedly suffered a near-fatal accident while behind bars following his sentence.
The 55-year-old disgraced rapper was attacked in his sleep, in prison, by apparently one of the inmates.
The Last night The singer’s friend Charlucci Finney claimed Diddy “woke up with a knife to his throat” while speaking to Daily mail on Wednesday, October 22.
Finney continued, “I don’t know if he fought him or if the guards came, I just know it happened.”
The producer and the music mogul have been friends for a long time and he described the attack as a strategy to scare Diddy but not actually harm him.
Finney further stated that “Sean would have been hurt” if the perpetrator wanted to harm him, especially since he was already holding a deadly weapon to his throat.
“It was probably a way of saying, ‘Next time you won’t be so lucky.’ Everything is intimidation. But it won’t work with Sean. Sean is from Harlem,” Finney said.
The founder of Bad Boy Records has been behind bars since his arrest in September 2024, on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and involvement in prostitution.
Diddy has been in prison since his arrest in September 2024. Following a federal indictment, he was charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy has maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty.
After his trial, which began in May, Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison. The accused rapper will also pay a $500,000 fine and will be released after five years of supervision once his sentence is over.
