Donald Trump confirmed that Sean “Diddy” Combs asked for a presidential grace of the US president in connection with his recent federal criminal conviction.
Last week, the chattered music magnate was sentenced to more than four years in prison after being convicted of two transport counts to enter into prostitution.

In his answer, the 47th president revealed: “Many people asked me for grace,” added that Combs, 55, was one of those who had made a request.
The confirmation of Trump comes two months after a member of the legal team of Combs was first announced that discussions had taken place with his administration camp.
Nicole Westmoreland, a lawyer who represents the founder of Bad Boy Records, said to the news output at the time: “It is my understanding that we had contact and had conversations with regard to a grace.”
The chances of the controversial music manager that Clementia receives, however, seem slim, largely because of his rather “very hostile” attitude towards Trump.
The 79-year-old politician rather remembered that although he and Combs had once shared a friendly report, things changed when he went to the office in 2020.
During an interview of 1 August with Rob Finnerty of the Newsmax, Trump recognized the difficulty of separating personal feelings from presidential decisions.
“It’s hard, we are people,” he said. “We don’t like to show things our judgment, right? But if you knew someone and you were good, and then you run to the office and he made some terrible explanations, so I don’t know. It’s harder.”
