Sebastian Maniscalco notes ONE complaint about Marcello Hernandez’s impression of him

Sebastian Maniscalco points out a flaw in Marcello Hernandez’s impression of him

Sebastian Maniscalco has responded to Marcello Hernandez’s impression of him in a Saturday evening live sketch.

Sebastian will appear in an upcoming episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, where he commented about the hilarious skit.

“So, [it was] pretty good. I didn’t know I was that gray, but whatever,” he told the host, who agreed that Hernandez’s wig was “a little too white.”

“Yes, it’s okay,” Maniscalco replied, praising the actor for his portrayal. “He did a great job. I was very flattered that they did that. He called me on Thursday before the show and said, ‘Do you want to come in and do a cameo at the end?’ I couldn’t do it because I was performing in Palm Springs, but I thought this kid did a great job.”

Barrymore pointed out that the skit was of the “good kind” and did not ridicule the comedian.

“I mean, if you’re being parodied on Saturday Night Live and it’s the good kind, like if they’re interacting with you, if there’s not an ounce or an ounce of meanness in it, then it’s cute and it’s honoring and it’s loving. I think it’s one of the greatest compliments in the world,” she said, before asking, “Did you take it that way because there was so much love in it?”

“Yes, this is absolutely everything, all in love, and I’ve never hosted the show that I’m here to do today… and maybe you can help me,” he told Barrymore, adding, “Apparently you did it.”

“I have six times,” she shared, causing him to joke, “Six times! You take up all the spots!”

“You would be so great on that show, by the way,” the Charlie’s Angels actress told him.

In the skit, Glen Powell’s groom-to-be invites Maniscalco (played by Hernandez) to his bachelor party. The comedian portrayed Sebastian’s “cock walk, wildly waving hands and hips, referee signals and the old Superman kickback” quite well, according to Billboard.

Sebastian Maniscalco’s latest comedy special It’s not right is now streaming on Hulu.
