A commenter just raised alarm bells about a potential danger in which Fergie is at risk of turning to the company because of her need for financial stability.
The writer, royal reporter Jasmine Carey, wrote her warning and prefaced her piece in an op-ed Emphatic where she delved into the consequences of such a growing need.
In her eyes, “Sarah Ferguson could be about to make her biggest mistake yet,” given that “it has been rumored for weeks that the former Duchess could be planning a big comeback after her big downfall.”
For those unfamiliar, this comes just as reports are beginning to circulate about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor having moved into a Sandringham estate being dubbed a ‘shoebox’ accommodation for the former duke who lived in a 30-bedroom home for years.
With Fergie not planning to join him in this new home that King Charles will finance from his private coffers, Ms Carey wrote: “And what do many famous people do for money when all else fails? Write a book. However, I am sure that if Sarah were to do this it would be her biggest mistake and would wreak more havoc in her life than anything that has come before.”
“Just look at the problems that publishing ‘Spare’ caused for Prince Harry?” she pointed out. “He might have liked his memoirs, but his royal relatives certainly wouldn’t. And the same would happen to Sarah. If she wrote a comprehensive book it would do more harm than good.”
Before concluding, she also weighed the pros and cons before saying: “Yes, she may receive a huge postal salary, but at what cost? It is believed that the good relationships she still has are in short supply, and writing a book could cause problems between Sarah and her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who are famous for their close bond,” she also warned.
