The South African Test squad arrived in Lahore on Wednesday for the two-match series against Pakistan, starting from October 12.
South Africa will tour Pakistan for a series across all formats of the game. The first Test is scheduled to be played from October 12 to 16 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, while the second Test will be played from October 20 to 24 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan will be looking to get off to a good start for the 2025-2027 ICC World Test Championship as the country finished bottom of the table in the last championship after losing nine of the 14 matches.
On the other hand, South Africa will be keen to start their title defense campaign with solid performances.
After the red ball series, three T20Is and as many ODIs will be played from October 28 to November 8. The selection for the white ball series will be announced later.
Meanwhile, tickets for the upcoming two-match Test series between Pakistan and South Africa are now on sale.
