Hawkins’ story is not over yet. Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, an animated series that shows the events between seasons two and three, has been canceled.
Eric Robles serves as showrunner and the Duffer Brothers serve as executive producers. The all-new animated adventure will be released on Netflix on April 23.
The voice cast includes Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Benjamin Plessala as Will and Brett Gipson as Hopper.
The Tales From ’85 synopsis features “Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas and Max during what appears to be a peaceful winter break filled with snowball fights and Dungeons & Dragons sessions. But when a mysterious threat awakens beneath the snow-covered streets of Hawkins, the young heroes must discover its source and save their town once again.”
