Sydney Sweeney’s career crash could be prevented by THIS project

Sydney Sweeney’s career could be saved by this one project

Sydney Sweeney is on a career rollercoaster that seems like it’s going wrong, but her next project could keep it from crashing.

Sweeney has faced backlash and a string of flops in recent months. The Euphoria actress came under fire for her ad in the American Eagle jeans ad because the ad used the word “genes” and seemed to promote a “eugenics-like” view.

“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, and often determine traits such as hair color, personality and even eye color. My jeans are blue,” Sweeney said in the ad.

Followed by the response to the ad, Sweeney’s new film, Christy, a biopic of boxer Christy Martin, became a colossal flop.

But her next film, The maid, might just save the actress’ career. The film is an adaptation of Freida McFadden’s 2022 novel, which already has a large fan base.

Media specialist Ryan McCormick shared The Irish Star, “Analyzing the most recent 280 comments on The maid movie trailer on YouTube, almost 3 in 4 praise it.”

“The excitement is coming from book readers and newcomers alike. One viewer said, ‘This was one of my absolute favorite books… I can’t wait to see this movie!’ This is a very good sign that the film will succeed,” he noted.

He warned that if the film performs poorly, Sweeney will still get roles, but “high-quality opportunities may diminish.”
