Tate McRae couldn’t believe herself when Taylor Swift named one of her songs as her favorites in a recent interview.
The 22-year-old Canadian singer looked back on the special moment during a conversation with the press and said that she “completely panicked” when she found out.
The greedy hitmaker said she kept seeing posts on social media about the pop superstar, 35, mentioning her single: Tit for Tatduring her interview The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonand it felt like a “crazy” full-circle moment, considering she’s been a Swiftie her whole life.
The It’s okay, I’m okay singer added that she continued to Facetime her friends, who also shared her opinion that “this is the craziest moment ever.”
McRae added: “I love her. I love her so much.”
This comes after the Eras Tour artist revealed this in the interview Tit for Tat was the last song she listened to and is constantly streaming. She then told Fallon to listen to the song too: “Like, at full volume, on repeat over and over again. It’s just so good.”
Shortly after the interview went live, the ex-singer shared the clip to her Instagram Story, writing, “Oh my Godddddddddd [7 teary-eyed emojis, six crying emojis] waaaaaaaaaaat.”
