Taylor Swift may not have scored a nomination for the 2026 Grammy Awards, but she’s expected to serve in a major category.
The 35-year-old pop superstar has not been nominated in any category as her latest album, The life of a showgirlwas released for consideration after the period, but is eligible for the 2027 Grammys.

The speculation started when multiple X accounts reported on a confirmed insider tip.
In response to the post, one Swiftie wrote, “She should announce an album as a presenter, let all the fandoms have a meltdown lmaoooo.”
Another guessed: “If that’s the case then Sabrina definitely wins something!,” while one person agreed, “this would actually be a good year for her to host AOTY, she’s the one with the most wins and she’s not nominated and if she gave it to Gaga, Kendrick, Sabrina or Bad Bunny it would all be fun to watch.”
While one Swiftie asked: “Period with a taypeformance please if you can hear us.”
However, many argued that the Recording Academy has not yet made an official announcement and that Swift might not even attend since she did not participate in the nominations.
