The 35-year-old global icon reportedly changed the lyrics of her latest single, The fate of Opheliaand Swifties rushed to streaming platforms to hear the new lyrics.

One Swiftie replied: ‘Omggg she has been sharpening and using her powers folkmeer pen mixed with hair TTPD pen for this new version ahhh!!!,” while another exclaimed, “OMG NOT THE LADY GAGA FEATURE TOO.”
A third chimed in: “wow new high note after the bridge hits so hard,” and “the way it clicks on the third listen.”
However, some fans were left confused as they didn’t see any change in the song: “Wait, this is a joke or a serious thing because nothing has changed for me,” one such X user wrote.
While a social media sleuth became the voice of reason and shut down the rumors once and for all, writing: “This is false information. Taylor Swift has not provided any updates The fate of Ophelia for streaming services. This is a tactic to gain more streams for the song.
Swift’s song has already found success on the charts, reaching number one on the Billboard 100 for the third week in a row, as well as the Global 200 chart.
The single also rules the Global Spotify chart, holding the number one position for 27 days in a row since its release.
