Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s big wedding update revealed

Rumors are swirling about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s highly anticipated wedding, with reports suggesting the couple may tie the knot at a historic mansion in Rhode Island.

Once the lavish summer home of Cornelius Vanderbilt II, The Breakers in Newport was the center of speculation for its grandeur and Gilded Age charm—an aesthetic often associated with Swift’s personal style.

However, the Newport County Preservation Society, which manages the property, has firmly denied the claims. “Taylor Swift will not be getting married at the Breakers, or any other property the association manages,” spokesman Gary Ruff confirmed. The Providence Journal.

The denial comes after podcast host Fiona Shea fueled the rumor mill by sharing that Swift reportedly asked another bride to move her wedding date to secure a Vanderbilt estate.

According to Shea, the venue reportedly asked the bride, “Hey, would you be willing to actually change the date of your wedding?” She added that Swift had supposedly offered compensation for the adjustment.

Sources close to the couple have hinted that Swift and Kelce are considering June 13, 2026 as their wedding date — an especially meaningful day for the singer, as the number 13 has long been considered her lucky number and the date falls six months before her 36th birthday.

Attention is also focused on Swift’s own waterfront mansion in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

Since announcing their engagement in August, Swift and Kelce have kept the details of their plans private, but excitement among fans continues to build.

The singer-songwriter teased the milestone with a playful caption on engagement photos, writing, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

As preparations progress, curiosity about the wedding’s final location and guest list only increases.
