Before meeting Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. But after her romance with the NFL began, her favorite team supposedly switched to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Her previous fondness for The Birds was reflected in a new docuseries, The end of an era. In the first episode, footage revealed that preparations for the tour began six months before her rehearsals.
At the time, Taylor was seen arriving in a gray Philadelphia Eagles sweatshirt, a team that is a known rival of his now fiancée’s club.
But her allegiance to Philly quickly changed when Travis entered her life. Since then, the pop icon has been spotted several times at a Kansas City Chiefs game with her friends, where she cheered on her boyfriend, a tight end.
In the same docuseries, Taylor reflects on an incident that shook her life. It was a terror plot that was foiled by authorities ahead of her concert in Vienna in 2024.
The situation prompted the Grammy winner to cancel her three shows during her European leg of the Eras Tour. Three men were arrested, whom the CIA claimed planned to kill “tens of thousands of people” at her concerts.
“It’s just a weird feeling when you look at the last five shows in Europe,” the 35-year-old said of the incident, adding, “Because it kind of feels like we’ve done 128 shows so far, but this is the first one where I feel like… I don’t know, I’m skating on thin ice or something.”
“A series of very violent, scary things happened on the tour. We were able to avoid a bloodbath situation. And so I’ve been everywhere,” she notes.
