Teddi Mellencamp says ‘Masked Singer’ has given ‘a little bit of life’ during the battle against cancer

Teddi Mellencamp isn’t turning her health scare into an excuse or pushing herself out of her comfort zone to “try something new.”

Despite her battle with cancer, the TV personality took the opportunity and gave her best to sing on stage in the current season of the series Masked singer.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The alum’s identity was revealed following her elimination during Wednesday’s episode of the show.

Following her unmasking, Teddi opened up about her intense battle with cancer and how appearing on the singing show gave her “a little bit of life.”

“I’m obviously not a singer by trade, and so that was a challenge for me,” Teddi admitted.

She went on to say, “Also, a lot of my memory has been skewed since my brain surgery. So I was a little nervous, but I was excited to push myself out of my comfort zone and try something new, and I felt like it gave me a little bit of life.”

The reality star sang during the show Fight song and that of her father John Mellencamp Jack and Diane.

During a package on the show, while masked, Teddi said, referring to her father, “For a while I hated him because he didn’t make my life easy,” “And there were years when we were distant.”

For those unfamiliar, Teddi was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in October 2022.

She has undergone multiple surgeries, including emergency surgery in 2025 to remove tumors in her brain.

In October 2025, she announced that her cancer was gone, but later revealed that although there are no traces of cancer, she is still considered stage 4 and is taking immunotherapy.
