The family of Tommy Lee Jones have issued an emotional statement following the tragic death of his daughter Victoria.
“We appreciate all the kind words, thoughts and prayers,” the family said in a statement People magazine on Friday.
“Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you,” the statement read.
For those unfamiliar, Victoria was found dead early on Thursday, January 1, at the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel. She was 34.
Victoria was the daughter of the Captain America: The First Avenger actor and his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley. The couple also shares son Austin Jones, 43.
Speak with NBC Bay Area, a police source confirmed they do not suspect foul play in connection with Victoria’s death. However, the real cause of her death has not yet been revealed.
“We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026. Our sincere condolences go out to the family and loved ones at this very difficult time,” Michelle Heston, president of Fairmont San Francisco Press, told reporters.
“The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting the police authorities in the context of the ongoing investigation,” he added.
