The first person on Travis Kelce’s mind is his fiancée Taylor Swift.
Before the NFL star signed his $12 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, the 36-year-old athlete took a moment to give a sweet nod to the ‘Opalite’ hitmaker while in the halls of Arrowhead Stadium.
A clip filmed by the Chiefs featuring the tight end can be seen as you walk past frame photos of the major events held at Arrowhead Stadium, including one of Taylor from her Eras Tour.
He said with a smile on his face, “Home sweet home!”
When Taylor’s framed photo came in front of Travis from her performance at the event, Travis apparently mumbled, “Hey honey, how are you?”
Later in the video, Travis is seen signing his contract and showing all the behind-the-scenes rituals.
Travis also expressed his excitement about returning to his team after a short break.
“These are exciting times and I’m ready to put on the team uniform again,” said Travis.
Travis’ friend and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes called him via video call and gave a special shout-out.
“Congratulations man,” Patrick said to Travis, who then showed off his facial hair in the video.
“Also with the beard?” Patrick said laughing.
He added, “I just wanted to call you to congratulate you. I know there are things going on.”
