Travis Kelce is opening up about the role his fiancée Taylor Swift played in one of his most important career decisions.
The Kansas City Chiefs recently revealed that he will return to the NFL for one more season instead of retiring.
And the Opalite singer influenced Travis’ decision as the athlete shared how she influenced his decision during the March 10 appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
“We share the same love for what we do,” he shared, noting, “Luckily, we have had this desire since we were children in our selective professions.”
Taylor’s work ethic actually inspired Travis to return as chef for the game’s 14th season.
“It’s just amazing to see how she continues to come to the table,” said Travis, who popped the question to the pop star in August.
“Keep finding new things to write about. Keep finding new melodies and things like that. And on top of that, you still see that love and joy in what she does.”
Travis further confessed that Taylor’s presence in his life is motivating because she’s side by side with him witnessing what he’s “going through” as he’s “trying to figure out exactly what the future holds.”
“Something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done yet either. I still have some ideas in the back of my mind. I still have some energy left to play this game, so without a doubt,” he added.
