Uma Thurman raves about her ‘Pretty Lethal’ costars on how they performed their own stunts.

The 55-year-old actress opened up about her experience working on the set of the new action thriller during its premiere at the 2026 film festivals. SXSW Film and TV Festival.

Since the film also stars Millicent Simmonds, Lana Condor, Maddie Ziegler, Avantika and Iris Apatow, Uma shared how she was impressed by their dedication.

“My role wasn’t as stunt-heavy as the other actresses in the film, so it wasn’t difficult for me in that way,” Uma said. People.

Uma’s role in ‘Pretty Lethal’ didn’t require many stunts, but the actress is known for her action projects. The ‘Kill Bill’ actress reflected on drawing her own work in the two ‘Kill Bill’ films while preparing for ‘The Old Guard 2.’

Elsewhere during the premiere, Maddie revealed how Uma’s stunt in Kill Bill inspired the making of ‘Pretty Lethal’.

While talking about Umma’s ‘action fight scenes’, she said, ‘Because she was just a badass woman, we looked to her for inspiration. [director] Vicky [Jewson] had told me that Uma wanted to do it and respond to it, I was beside myself.”

“She is such a kind person and so talented, gracious, poised and kind. I couldn’t have had a better experience,” she added.
