Gisele Bündchen’s family is reportedly “not happy” with her marriage to her “penniless” boyfriend Joaquim Valent.
An insider said this on Friday Page six that the supermodel’s family is concerned about the wealth gap between her and her new husband.
“Her family warned her that marrying a penniless man when she is worth millions is a mistake,” the source said.
For those unfamiliar, Gisele has been named the highest-paid supermodel multiple times and has amassed a fortune of $400 million.
“Her family told her she should just live with him,” the confidante added. “But because of Valente’s pressure and her traditionalism, she felt that since they had a child, they might as well get married.”
Gisele and Joaquim tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in November 2025, months after welcoming a son.
At the time, the source told the newspaper that the jiu-jitsu instructor was “excited that they were finally tying the knot after having a child together.”
“There is a prenup, but there are some loopholes that mean if they divorce, there will be a financial settlement for him,” the confidant said.
It is pertinent to mention that Gisele is also a mother to two children, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady.
