Kendall Jenner is getting candid about using a “false name” for horse riding competitions.
During a recent appearance on The tonight showJimmy Kimmel asked the 30-year-old supermodel about her competitors’ reactions when they found out they were competing with her.
Kendall revealed “they don’t do that” because she doesn’t go by her real name during the competition.
“Not that I think anyone really cares, but it’s very valuable for me to do this. I’m also extremely nervous when I enter a show arena.”
Kendall explained that she wants to “avoid any nerves” during the competition. She continued, “So I think removing my name just helps me go in and say, ‘Nobody’s watching me. Nobody cares.'”
Fallon was shocked by Kendall’s revelation, but she admitted, “I love it! I just feel like one of the girls.”
Kendall has been riding horses since she was two years old, talking about her passion for horses to Vogue: “Horses have a power that is almost difficult for humans to understand.”
“Even though I can’t communicate with them directly, I feel like those I’ve cared for have always given me that strength.”
“I was probably two when I first got on a horse, and maybe four when I took my first lesson. It’s very soothing, it’s definitely a form of exercise, it’s also a really nice way to get outside,” she added.
