Paris Jackson was noticeably absent from the premiere of the upcoming biopic about her father, Michael Jackson.
Most of Jackson’s family members were spotted at ‘Michael’s world premiere at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Paris, but opted to spend time in West Hollywood.
Paris was photographed talking to a friend and smoking a cigarette on the streets of Los Angeles, via TMZ.
The Jackson family members who attended the event included Michael’s son Prince Jackson and Bigi Jackson, along with Jaafar Jackson, who plays the King of Pops in the film, as well as his father Jermaine Jackson and uncle Jackie Jackson.
Paris has previously spoken out about her concerns about the biopic. She clapped back at Colman Domingo’s comments suggesting she contributed to the film. At the time, she revealed that parts of the script felt unfair and “didn’t sit well with her”. However, they later clarified that their disagreement arose after a misunderstanding.
Even after the conflict was resolved, Paris continued to clash with the executors of her father’s estate, John Branca and John McClain.
She recently blamed Branca for what she described as the film’s “failed production,” claiming that reshoots reportedly cost more than ten million dollars.
