Yerin Ha made an awkward confession about Sophie and Benedict’s steamy bathtub hookup Bridgerton season 4.
During a performance on February 25 at Capital breakfast Along with co-star Luke Thompson, the actress told presenters Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby that she developed an uncomfortable skin condition while filming the s*x scene.
“There’s a scene where we’re sitting in a bathtub and I’m actually putting baby powder on myself because I was told that if I applied the intimacy wear with my tape it would help dry out my skin,” she explained.
Yerin then revealed, “And actually the next day after the bath I got hives all over my body, I got folliculitis and I needed steroid cream!”
“But I blame myself,” she admitted, “because I think it was a combination of baby powder and the bathwater.”
Folliculitis is a common skin condition usually caused by an infected or inflamed hair follicle, causing uncomfortable or itchy bumps on the skin’s surface.
According to the Cleveland ClinicThere are a number of factors that can increase the risk of developing folliculitis, including doing activities that make you sweat a lot and not cleaning yourself completely afterwards, or spending time in a hot tub or sauna that has not been properly cleaned.
Noting that the couple was immersed in the bathtub for six or seven hours while filming the scene, Thompson joked with Yerin Ha, “But you were fine! So it’s me. I’m a sensitive girl.”
