Zach Bryan paid a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Annette.
The 29-year-old American singer-songwriter wrote an emotional post on his Instagram on Wednesday, January 20, about his recent marriage to Samantha Leonard.
Bryan, who tied the knot with Leonard in a private ceremony on New Year’s Eve in San Sebastián, Spain, revealed that his wife “loves a man that only a mother can do.”
With a carousel of intimate photos from his wedding day, he wrote: “I think you loved this and her.”
The Boys of faith crooner continued: “We all flew to Spain last week and you ate it. You ordered everything twice and made sure we got your dress perfect. Anyone I love, you would too. There was lots of champagne and Mac looked beautiful.”
Bryan went on to say that his wife Leonard’s family is “kind and not trying to fix me.”
“Dad did the splits while smoking a cigar on the dance floor. Rocky Lane was our ring bearer and I know you would like that since you named me after Lane Frost so many years ago,” he added about his wedding day and how it reminded him of his mother.
“If you could have seen all those cheek-tearing teeth smiling under the Spanish moon late into the morning on New Year’s Day. Belly laughing and just keeping an eye on Samantha in her dress.’
“Sam reminds me that you are half of me anyway. She is something special and precious. Something to keep once she touches your life. It makes me feel light. It makes me feel like my heart beats easily and the days are not as hard as they once were,” On the way south star wrote about Annette.
