Cameron Diaz responds to Keanu Reeve’s memory loss

Cameron Diaz and Keanu Reeves are back on screen after thirty years.

The longtime stars reunite in the upcoming Outcome, marking their first film together since 1996’s Feeling Minnesota.

While promoting the project, Diaz shared a humorous moment when Reeves completely forgot about a special handshake the two once shared.

Speak with People magazinethe actress said, “Well, I was really surprised that Keanu didn’t remember the special handshake we had.”

“We would just have something where we were like, high five, down low and then a few kicks on the feet, you know?” she added.

Diaz went on to say, “I was so surprised that you didn’t remember that 30 years later, Keanu. But we have freshened up, we have something completely different. We are, we are at it again. Yep, we’re at it again. So we’re good, we’re good.’

On the other hand, Reeves told the outlet that it was “great” to reunite with Diaz.

Recalling the time when filmmaker Jonah Hill reached out to him, Reeves said he felt “honored.”

“I got this [invite] that ‘Jonah would like to meet you,’ and I was like, ‘Wherever he wants.’ He says, ‘Do you want to come to my house?’ I say, ‘Sure, let’s go.’ So I went there, rode my bike, went to the ocean, hung out outside, and he shared what he was doing, and I was like, ‘Wow,'” the actor said.
