Following Justin Bieber’s first headliner at the 2026 Coachella, Diplo shares his comments.
The DJ gushes about Justin’s 90-minute set which saw him perform songs from his latest albums, along with guest appearances from Kid LAROI, Wizkid, Tems, Dijon and Mk.gee
Diplo praised Bieber’s set as “amazing” in a recent conversation with Bieber People.
‘I was surprised he went at all [back] to the classics, but the way he played it was amazing,” Diplo said before Day 3 of the festival in Indigo, California.
Gushing about Bieber’s period playing old videos of his previous hits on YouTube, Diplo said: “No one [else] could go to Coachella and just sit on his laptop and play YouTube because that’s like – that’s legendary.”
“And he gave you a little bit. He said, ‘I got so many hits, here, you got this,'” he added.
It is pertinent to mention that Bieber has also played some of his older funny videos, including how he accidentally bumped into a glass door, and also the ‘Baby’ singer’s recent viral confrontation video about being ‘on business’.
Diplo noted that Bieber’s set reflected the pop singer’s authentic self.
“It was like I was at a party with him,” he added.
The DJ further shared his thoughts on attending the music festival every year, saying the lineup is “very diverse.”
“They have everyone from Davido to hardcore techno. Nine Inch Noize was great last night. It’s a little bit of everything for everyone, and you can learn a lot about music,” he added.
