Brittany Cartwright opens about her ex-husband Jax Taylor’s response to her decision to become a member of the FOX Competition series Special forces: The world’s most difficult test.
In the premiere of season 4, Cartwright, 36, shared that she wanted to participate in the show to prove herself after a difficult year, including her decision to leave a toxic relationship.
“I wanted to do special forces selection because I experienced so much this year, I finally found the power to leave a very poisonous relationship,” she revealed.
Cartwright claimed that Taylor did not support her decision and said: “I had my ex writing me if:” You’re not going to get it far before I even came here, so people like that I want to prove wrong. ”
Despite the skepticism, Cartwright was determined to push itself and prove its possibilities.
However, Cartwright struggled on day 1 of the show, with challenges that mimic military training.
She admitted that she was terrified of heights during the repellent challenge of the helicopter and had difficulty keeping up during a physically demanding obstacle course.
After her team had lost a challenge, Cartwright was forced to make a difficult decision and to tear her bracelet out, and explained: “I can’t. I am going to vomit. I am really sorry. I feel —.”
The early elimination of cartwright from the show enabled her to return to her 4-year-old son, Cruz, whom she shares with Taylor.
“I was so ready to return to my son. I had never been to him for so long. That was the longest I ever separated from him. So that was a big problem to come back to him,” she said.
