Comedian Dapper Laugh is speaking out after Katie Price criticized him for allegedly making fun of her disabled son.
The former glamor model continued to furiously go after the comedian and called for his cancellation after Dapper apparently targeted Harvey Price, Katie’s eldest son, in one of his shows.
It is pertinent to mention that Katie shares her 23-year-old son with ex-footballer Dwight Yorke. Harvey suffers from a rare genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and blindness.
Dapper, whose real name is Daniel O’Reilly, chose not to respond directly to Katie’s comment and advised his fan in a video to change their mindset.
The social media content creator began: “Happy Monday! It’s a brand new, fresh week – don’t start with the same mentality you ended last week with. Shift it, f*** it, let it go. Whoever lets you down, f*** them.”
“Change it, change your perspective. Whatever you’re thinking about and worried about, shift the fuck out and focus on the positive things in your life,” he continued.
He further added that he thought about all the “beautiful things” in life today and decided to “take a day off from worrying.”
“Why don’t you do the same?” he added.
“Please try to let it go… Put yourself first (sic),” he concluded his post before clarifying in another story that “ket” was a typo.
The comedian also posted a screenshot of his lock screen, with the background text reading: “Don’t worry about calming the storm. Calm yourself, the storm will pass.”
Katie, who is known for being protective of his family, took to her Instagram account this weekend after being told that Dapper had attacked her son on one of his shows.
She wrote, “So I hear @dappersinstagram made a JOKE about my son Harvey AGAIN last night and then said pretend I didn’t say anything or I’ll get canceled again.”
Katie continued: “He does charity football matches for children and he certainly has his own children. Having to use my son with complex needs and not being able to defend himself from a JOKE, this man is a disgusting human being so I’m afraid he’s going to be canceled for EVERYTHING.”
The mother of five also posted in a subsequent story to report Dapper’s Instagram account for “bullying Harvey.”
