Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were good friends during the One Direction era and beyond. However, the friendship is said to be strained after a fight between them.
Now the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker fears, insiders tell The Sun, that his explosive footage of him punching his former bandmate while making a Netflix documentary will be leaked.
Sources tell the channel that the images are “more than harmful” because Malik had also made derogatory comments about Timonlinson’s mother, who died of leukemia in 2016.
“The moment Zayn punched Louis and made a derogatory comment about his mother Johannah was all filmed,” the insider added.
“Zayn and Louis know that footage exists and that the production company has it. If it were to become public, it could be more than damaging to Zayn’s image.”
Insiders note that the three-part Netflix travel series was intended to showcase the bond between the pair; however, it turned out to be a disaster.
“The series was supposed to give a raw insight into the relationship between Zayn and Louis, but this crossed a line.”
According to reports, Tomlinson suffered a head injury and concussion from Malik’s punch, as the former was wearing a ring in an incident that took place in Wyoming six months ago.
