Robert Irwin shares a heartfelt message to his sister Bindi Irwin amid her endometriosis journey.
Bindi, who was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2022, has since spoken out about women’s health and openly shared her battle with endometriosis, including the removal of 50 lesions from her body.
Robert was enthusiastic about his sister’s courage and spread the word People on the Disney 2026 Upfront: “Bindi’s journey with endometriosis has been amazing because it’s hard to fight through. And it’s easy to let it just be a silent battle.”
The proud brother continued: “But she decided to actually amplify that, to spread her story, to share that with people, to help other people. That’s brave. That’s a challenge.”
The 22-year-old conservationist explained, “And endometriosis is a very difficult thing to go through because so many people suffer in silence or suffer undiagnosed. And I just try to follow her lead. She’s amazing. Anything I can do to amplify this message about women’s health that she stands for so well, I mean, sign me up. I’ll be there.”
The Dancing with the stars winner added, “So I’m a very proud younger brother. She’s amazing at everything she does, and I’m just here to support her 100%.”
It is pertinent to mention that Robert and Bindi’s father was the iconic Australian conservationist Steve Irwin, known as ‘The Crocodile Hunter’.
According to the Mayo Clinic website, “Endometriosis is a condition in which cells that resemble the uterine lining, or endometrium, grow outside the uterus.”
