“And I go through these mazes to a room that overlooks all these boats.”
As the film nears its end, Driver miraculously reappears.
“And then I sneak back in and try not to make any noise so I can be there when the lights come on.”
However, there are some exceptions.
Driver’s long-awaited film will be released in 2024 Megalopolis was shown in Cannes.
For this he attends the premiere because of the director, Francis Ford Coppola.
“[His wife] “Eleanor had just passed away,” the actor shares.
Paper tiger does not yet have a theatrical release.
Elsewhere in the interview, Driver says he’s more inclined to make indie films.
“I like the scale of those bigger films, and I like the reach of them,” he says, referring to big box office films.
However, he adds, “I gravitate more naturally toward smaller films.”
“The rhythm is completely different. It’s a little faster. I don’t mind having to do something technical,” concludes Driver.
