Zendaya recently admitted that filming took place Spider-Man: Brand New Day with her fiancé Tom Holland felt like a family affair.
For those who don’t know, Zendaya and Holland, who star as MJ and the titular character in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, first met on the set of 2016 respectively Spider-Man: Homecoming. In 2021, they confirmed their relationship and announced their engagement at the end of 2024.
The 29-year-old American actress and singer talked about what it felt like to work with her partner Holland Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
She told me Elle in an interview: “Spider-Man was a dream; I go to work every day with my best friend, the person I love. We take our dogs to work; it’s like a family affair.”
“We grew up with those movies! It’s like coming home,” Zendaya said of the hit franchise.
In the upcoming film, after four years of Dr. Stephen Strange at the end of the 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home Parker “anonymously protects New York City as the hero Spider-Man and investigates a powerful new threat as his superpowers undergo a surprising and potentially dangerous evolution,” according to the synopsis.
It is relevant to mention that Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, Mark Ruffalo, Tramell Tillman, Krondon, Melanie Scrofano and others, alongside Zendaya and Tom Holland, will be released on July 31, 2026.
