Kelly Osbourne has tried to bring a smile to her mother, Sharon, as she celebrated her first birthday since Ozzy’s death.
The Black Sabbath frontman died on July 22 at the age of 76, just two weeks after giving a farewell concert with his bandmates at Birmingham’s Villa Park.
In her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Kelly shared a sneak peek of the birthday decorations she prepared for her mother while she slept.
She said, “Shh!! So today is my mother’s birthday and I just decorated her room.’
Kelly showed off her camera skills by panning the camera to an abundance of floating balloons and wrapped gifts, before revealing Sharon, who turned 73 and was still sleeping in bed.
She added, “And she’s still sleeping.”
This comes after Sharon stunned fans with her heartbreaking performance as she was spotted for the first time since Ozzy’s funeral.
Before the tragedy, Kelly had spoken out about Ozzy’s health during what turned out to be her last interview before his death.
Following the news of his death, Sharon opened up on social media to thank fans for the “overwhelming love and support” his fans showed her.
Her son Jack said further Good morning America on Tuesday: “She’s doing well, but she’s not doing well. I know she feels the love.”
