Kelly Osbourne is speaking out about body-shaming comments

Kelly Osbourne claps back at body-shaming comments.

The singer took to her Instagram account to criticize people who focused on her appearance following the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne.

“First of all, I want to start by saying that I have received so many sweet, sweet, sweet comments from people who have really helped me get through this time in my life since I lost my dad,” Kelly began.

“But I also got some disgusting, horrible, mean, brutal comments. And I was just sitting here thinking, ‘What do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like now?'”

The British TV personality went on to say that the loss of her father has taken a toll on her and that she is already doing enough.

“The fact that I’m getting out of bed and facing my life should be more than enough and I should be commended for that.”

Kelly also left a message for people who criticize or leave negative comments.

“You need to take a good look at yourself because most of the things you say about me are how you feel about yourself,” she noted.

“The best example: You say I look sick. Well, I’m sick now. My life has been completely turned upside down. I don’t understand why people expect me to come back and look like everything is fine in my life when it’s not,” Kelly added.
