Teyana Taylor shared how she juggled her culinary school and filmmaking One battle after another.
In a recent conversation with Oscar Isaac during Variety’s actor on actors In an interview, the 34-year-old multi-hyphenate revealed how she managed filming and her schoolwork as an aspiring chef.
“It’s actually something that gets me a few [minutes] to just be quiet and cook. It’s an art,” she began.

“The culinary school and working with PTA really prepared me well. I feel like I’m going to be a great director. It might sound weird, like, ‘All this from learning how to make a steak?'” she noted.
In response, Isaac said, “I think you’re the coolest person I’ve ever met in my life. You are so amazing – all the energy to do this.”
“It’s all about balance,” Taylor replied.
During an earlier appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Livethe Escape room star shared insights into her virtual classes.
“I have to do it online, which is actually harder because you don’t have a chef saying, ‘No, fix this, fix this. It’s kind of like, ‘Figure it out,'” Taylor revealed, proudly adding that she is a “straight A student.”
