‘Waterloo Road’ star Lorraine Cheshire has died aged 65

Waterlooweg Actor Lorraine Cheshire died at the age of 65, according to her partner.

The late soap star’s partner John Dixon wrote on Facebook: “The love of my life passed away 46 years ago this morning and now my heart is broken. To the green fields beyond.”

She joined in 2007 Waterlooweg as Fleur Budgen and appeared in several episodes over the course of five years, earning a name for herself in the industry.

Her last project before her death was a short film called Incompatible in which she played the character Pauline.

Another industry friend, Anthony Crank, said: “I have just heard the devastating news that the beautiful Lorraine has passed away. One of the kindest, funniest, beautiful and caring souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.”

“My heart goes out to John and all that knew her. This week has been horrible, just hell on earth. Please give your loved ones the utmost push tonight. REST IN POWER, ABSOLUTE QUEEN,” he concluded.
