Keith Carradine is breaking his silence following the tragic death of his younger brother, Robert Carradine.
For those unfamiliar, the The revenge of the nerds actor took his own life after a twenty-year battle with bipolar disorder. He was 71.
After Robert’s tragic death, Keith spoke with Term and said he wants people to know about his brother’s struggle.
“We want people to know, and there’s no shame in it,” he told the outlet. “It’s a disease that got the best of him, and I want to celebrate him for his battle with it, and celebrate his beautiful soul.”
“He was very gifted and we will miss him every day,” the spokesperson added Right alum. “We will take comfort in how funny he could be, how wise, completely accepting and tolerant he was. That was who my little brother was.”
Robert made his acting debut in 1972 alongside John Wayne The Cowboys. Throughout his decades-long career, the actor appeared in so many films including The Night They Came Home, Django Unchained, Lizzie McGuire, and much more.
