Andy Cohen is speaking out after the shocking arrests of Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo.
During the October 13 episode of Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXMthe 57 year old Real Housewives executive producer addressed the news, admitting he was heartbroken when he heard the news and calling Wendy a “great role model.”
“I want to say that like all of you, I heard about the charges against Wendy and Eddie Osefo on Friday morning and there is not much I can say,” he said. “I don’t know any more about the charges than you do, beyond what I’ve read.”
Cohen did not hold back his emotions and expressed his deep condolences for the reality star and her family. “I’m sad about this. I’m really sad about this and Wendy is just, you know, I’m a Wendy fan and she’s been a great homemaker and a great role model,” he said.
“She has always been guided by education and her solid family values, and so I’m really thinking about her and her family and I certainly hope that all of this is nothing,” he added.
Wendy, 41, and Eddie, also 41, were indicted by a grand jury in Maryland on October 9. The couple faces multiple charges, including insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and making a false statement to police.
They were booked into Westminster and later released after posting $50,000 bail each
