Blake Lively files new opposition in Justin Baldoni case

Blake Lively is opposing Justin Baldoni’s attempt to drop her lawsuit.

The move comes after Baldoni tried to avoid the March 2026 trial by asking Judge Lewis J. Liman to dismiss the case in November through a motion for summary judgment.

In response, Lively’s lawyers filed their opposition on Thursday, emphasizing that the case involved much more than minor workplace disagreements.

“This is not, as Defendants allege, a story of petty annoyances fueled by creative differences, but instead a story of a toxic work environment,” her lawyers wrote in the lawsuits.

They claim Baldoni and the team framed Lively as the “bully” to avoid blame on set.

Her lawyers argued that the defendants’ claims “collapse under the overwhelming evidence” and asked the judge to deny them.

However, Baldoni argues that Lively’s claims of harassment and retaliation were based on slights and miscommunication.

For those unfamiliar, Lively filed a lawsuit in December 2024, while Baldoni filed a $400 million counterclaim, which was later dismissed.
