The summer I became beautiful star Gavin Casalegno has broken the silence on fans’ theories regarding the film of the hit Prime series.
During his final confessional with PEOPLE Magazine at the Elle Actors Rising event in Los Angeles, he shared what he knows about Jenny Han’s plans for the film.
While claiming that the cast has “no idea” beyond the logistics of the highly anticipated film, Casalegno teased that the fanbase’s collective imagination may have already been caught.
In doing so, he assured that he was 100% “sure” that at least “one of the fans’ predictions is correct,” skipping the part where he confirmed which fans’ prediction it was.
While announcing the film last year, Jenny Han said in a statement about the final chapter of Belly’s, played by Lola Tung, transformative journey.
“There’s another big milestone in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its due,” Han noted in a press release.
“I am so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and making it possible to share this final chapter with fans,” he concluded.
