George Clooney is perhaps one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, but when it comes to family life, he prefers to keep things grounded.
While walking the red carpet at the New York Film Festival, the 64-year-old actor revealed that his favorite daily routine has nothing to do with scripts or cameras.
“I have normality. You know, I drive my children to school every morning,” Clooney said The daily mail.
He laughed when he added: “I have normality, except this!”
George and Vrouw Amal Clooney, 47, share the 8-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, who were born in June 2017.
Amal went to the festival with her husband in a striking Red Velvet Oscar de la Renta Mini dress decorated with flower decorations and turned the heads next to George while promoting his latest project.
The Oscar winner was there to bring his new film to the attention Jay KellyWhere he plays an aging Hollywood star opposite Adam Sandler.
After his work on the screen, Clooney also makes waves on stage, starring in the Broadway adjustment of Good night and good luck.
His role as a legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow even earned him a best actor nomination at the Tony Awards 2025.
Despite his busy schedule, Clooney says that life keeps in balance for his children remains a top priority.
“I now try to keep the children away from that experience,” he explained, referring to life on the set. He noted that Ella and Alexander did not spend much time while filming Jay Kelly.
“I’m not sure what they would think about it. I don’t want them to think we can spoil.”
For Clooney, combining his Hollywood career with simple family routines is his way to ensure that his children grow up with perspective, even while the spotlight shines clearly on their famous last name.
