George Clooney and his wife Amal’s marriage hits trouble after he falls back into bad habits.
According to Radaronlinea source revealed that the actor started drinking too much after losing the Tony Awards.
But an insider noted that Amal is “angry that he is falling back into bad habits”
“She has made it very clear that she will not tolerate him falling off the wagon again – and now here he is, showing off!” mentioned a source.
In his last interview, George recalled that he “came home with Amal and I was just laughing. We’re in bed and I say, ‘Well, I made up all my abstinence in one night'”.
“I was sick all day the next day – it was hysterical. I was like drunk in high school,” shared the Ocean Elf actor.
However, another source says this Radaronline that Amal convinced George to return to drinking after being confined to bed with pancreatitis in December 2021.
“George was off the booze for a long time, and it took a huge amount of willpower and discipline,” said an insider.
The source said the actor “did it because he knew his life was healthier and safer when he wasn’t under the influence.”
“The hangovers were brutal and Amal hated that he was always overdoing it and could never have just one or two drinks,” a source noted.
For now, an insider revealed to the outlet that Amal expresses her full support for her husband, but “she draws a hard line.”
“Amal has made it clear that she will not tolerate him drinking regularly again,” the source said
Another insider noted: “George may joke about it, but if he wants to go back to that way of life, he’s playing Russian roulette with his marriage.”
