Indian captain forgets team changes, compares memory to Rohit

On the Asia Cup T20 throwing between India and Oman, both captains – Suryakumar Yadav and Jatinder Singh – when they forgot to announce the names of the players from their respective teams.

India has made two changes in their line-up, resting on Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakaravarthy.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav managed to remember only one replacement and forget the other and say: “Harshit comes in, there is another man. Oh my God!”

Later, a joke with presenter Ravi Shastri that had become his memory as former skipper Rohit Sharma’s, who is known for forgetting things. He laughed and said, “I became a rohit.”

It was later confirmed that Arshdeep Singh and Harshit were included in the playing XI against Oman.

Suryakumar was initially able to remember the name of Arshdeep on the toss. After the Coin Flip, Suryakumar and Oman’s Captain Jatinder shared a smile, shook hands and hugs each other.

Oman also made two changes, including Mohammed Nadeem in their game XI. With India already to the Super Four phase, the game against Oman was effectively a dead rubber.
