Lewis Capaldi explains what happened during that famous event The Graham Norton Show with him and Taylor Swift.
Appear on KIIS FMs Kyle and Jackie O Show, Capaldi said there is no bad blood between himself and Taylor Swift, clarifying some speculation on social media after they appeared on Norton’s show earlier this year.
Taylor appeared on the show to promote her new album The life of a showgirl, while Lewis has since performed his Something in heaven.

After the episode, TikTok users speculated that the Karma The hitmaker’s team told Lewis not to talk about his upcoming album to keep the spotlight on her album.
Now the 29-year-old singer has revealed what his comment was actually about.
“I’ll use a word here. That’s nonsense,” he said of the fan theory. “I saw a TikTok about that. And it’s a woman saying, ‘Taylor did this and she’s evil’ and this and that. And I’m like, ‘That’s completely made up.'”
“Actually, my EP hadn’t been announced yet. So I was told by my label, ‘Don’t tell people before you go ahead,'” he explained.
“Not as a, ‘You can’t tell people.’ It was like, ‘It hasn’t been announced yet, so don’t tell people.’ And then we moved on to Graham Norton and Graham said, ‘We’ve got a new EP coming out.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, I thought I wasn’t supposed to mention it.'”
“Then I think because Taylor asked, ‘Who said that?’ I think people thought, well… the TikTok I saw was a woman. A lady speculating,” he said.
“So I guess she thought that was it [Swift] was thinking,” he continued.
“But they were complete bulls***. I can swear to it. They were complete bulls***,” declared Lewis Capaldi.
