Amid persistent reports that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s daughters are expected to act as ‘spies’ and report to him about the family and everything that happens within the palace walls, an expert has put forward his own thoughts.
This all comes via Ephraim Hardcastle of The Daily Mail and differs from the claims of royal expert Ingrid Seward.
While in her eyes it is less effort to ‘spy’ and more that the girls, especially Princess Eugenie, thought they ‘had no choice’.
While we continue talking Exclusive to The Sun podcast, she also surmised that this probably happened because he “persuaded” them to go through with it.
“They might have said, ‘Oh daddy, we want to be with you.’ And he said, ‘No, I want you to go there. That’s what will make me happy,” she tried to say before The Daily Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle joined the conversation with Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, completely dismissing such comments because he believes “father-daughter relationships are in the freezer.”
He also added: “It’s not just that Beatrice and Eugenie want to protect their own reputations; remaining royal and being seen with the rest of the family helps open doors for them. But they have also sided with those abused by Jeffrey Epstein. The fact that their father never apologized to the victims continues to fester.”
