Gaten Matarazzo recently got candid and revealed which one Stranger things co-star, he texts constantly.
The 23-year-old American actor, who started his career on the Broadway stage as Benjamin Priscilla, queen of the desert and as Gavroche in Les Misérables, was present at the premiere of Stranger things season 5 in Los Angeles on November 6, 2025.
During a conversation with PEOPLE magazine at the event, Matarazzo shared which co-star remains in touch even after they finish shooting.
He said: “I text Finny (Finn Wolfhard) and Caleb (McLaughlin) a lot all the time. They update a lot. They love a good meme and a good laugh. A good voice memo too. They’re always… We do some of those regularly.”
In particular the Anima farm star Wolfhard and McLaughlin have been on the show since its debut in 2015.
For those who don’t know, Matarazzo and Wolfhard even lived together and with Jesse Tyler Ferguson during his performance Dinner is for me podcast he talked about living with the 22-year-old Canadian actor and musician.
“It was great. It was like a college experience,” he said at the time.
It is relevant to mention that Stranger things Season 5 Part 1 was released on November 26, 2025 and the second part will be released on December 25, followed by the finale on December 31, 2025.
