Miley Cyrus recently gave an update on her grandmother Dolly Parton’s health as she faced some “challenges” earlier this year.
On December 1, the 33-year-old American singer-songwriter went to the Avatar: Fire and Ashes premiere in Los Angeles, where she opened up about her honorary grandmother’s health struggles, who is actually her seventh cousin, after she was removed.
Sharing an update on Parton’s health in a conversation with Entertainment tonight, Miley said, “She’s always going to keep the show going. The show must go on. She’s just excited to get back to work.”
For those who don’t know, the 79-year-old American singer-songwriter and actress suffered a kidney stone-related infection, forcing her to postpone her Las Vegas shows in September this year.
After postponing her shows, Parton released a video in which she opened up about her health issues by explaining, “Hello Dollywood! It’s me. I know – and I’m here, and you’re there. And you’re wondering why that is? Well, I had a little problem.”
“I had a kidney stone that was causing me a lot of problems, it turned out to be an infection and the doctor said, ‘You don’t need to travel right away, so you need a few days to get better,'” he said. Little Sparrow hitmaker mentioned at the time.
