Patrick Muldoon, who died of a heart attack on Sunday, was in a relationship with Denise Richards for almost five years, and they were one of the sweet couples of the 1990s.
Patrick and Denise met in 1997 while filming Spaceship Trooperswhich was released the following year.
They dated for almost five years before breaking up around 2000 and remained close friends for years until his death.

Denise is an American actress, model and television personality who rose to fame with roles in science fiction film Spaceship Troopersand the James Bond movie TThe world is not enough.
During a 2019 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsDenise reflected on Patrick’s friendship, saying, “I’ve known Patrick Muldoon since I was 19 years old. We call each other ‘schweet babe’ because we had nicknames for everyone on Starship Troopers.”
Richards and Muldoon briefly put their friendship on hold while the actress was married to Charlie Sheen.
On her show, she once said, “Me and Pat’s romantic relationship was years ago and it’s just a deep friendship. I’m so grateful that Aaron respects that, because Charlie had a hard time with my relationship with Pat.”
Meanwhile, following Patrick’s death, the insider tells the newspaper: “She is devastated. Really sad. I would even call her inconsolable. She can’t stop crying.”
