Taylor Frankie Paul explains why she’s not taking a break from social media to heal after her alleged domestic violence case involving ex Dakota Mortensen was revealed by prosecutors.
A day after the Secret Lives of Mormon Women star reflected on her dismissed case, she shared a screenshot of a comment from her fan on her Instagram Stories and shared a “friendly reminder” for those who may think she needs to “heal from social media.”
The comment the follower posted on her TikTok account read: “Do your healing through social media.”
The TV personality didn’t hold back, replying, “That sounds like a reasonable answer, but I will do the opposite. I will continue to share on social media and show how ugly healing can really be.”
She explained: “Creating and editing videos is my way of processing, just like people like to write in a diary. This is my way and I choose to share it.
“If I say this with love, most people should get out, and that’s understandable [bandaged heart emoji] I’m not the most,” Taylor concluded.
This came just a day after Taylor reflected on the “ugly sides” of healing, after the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced they had dropped charges against her after two police agencies in Utah opened separate domestic violence investigations into alleged arguments between her and her ex-boyfriend in February.
